The Director’s Cut

Let’s make a movie and star in it together.

The Creative Approach is the part of The Director’s Cut where your wedding film stops being a record and starts being a movie. Pick one of the three below and we’ll build it into your day.

Option one

The Couple’s Interview

A 2-camera interview capturing your flutter and excitement right after your ceremony. Tell the story of how you met and fell in love, your hopes and dreams for the future, and leave a time capsule for your children and grandchildren. The interview can be woven neatly into your wedding film, or stand on its own alongside it.

Option two

The Movie Trailer

A highly stylized take on your wedding. The day is shot as normal, then cut as a movie trailer. I’ll guide you through the approach, from the shot list to the acting to the costumes. The sky’s the limit for how creative you want to get.

Be the first.

Nobody has made a movie trailer wedding film with me yet. The first couple who does gets 25% off The Director’s Cut.

Option three

The Short Film

The narrative approach to filmmaking. We write a script (I’m happy to write it, or co-write it with you), build a shot list, pick a location and shoot. Don’t forget to rehearse your lines. We’ll do as many takes as it needs to get it right.
